Reapers Continue Hot Streak with Extra-Inning Win
Pontiac pitcher Paul Allen gave the Reapers all they could handle, but in the end, Grim left The Coffin with a win, 2-1. Allen allowed 1 run on 5 hits over 8 innings. Reliever Apaghana Shachi picked up the win. His record improves to 2-2. Adrián García took the loss. The second-place Reapers have won 6 straight.

The Reapers relied on center fielder Scott Thomas for the game-winning hit. And, in the bottom of the 13th, he delivered, hitting a run-scoring double to seal the deal.

"One win at a time, one game at a time. We try not to get too far ahead of ourselves," Thomas told the Grim News.
