Reapers Squelch Vandals Offense in Shutout Win
|
Grim got a first-rate effort from pitcher Chase Davis, who frustrated Eugene hitters en route to a 3-0 Reapers triumph at The Coffin. Roy Harris, credited with the save, is now 6 for 7 in save opportunities. The Reapers, at 47-39, have now won 4 straight.
In the top of the seventh, Eugene were in rally mode. The score was 3-0, Grim, with one out and the bases loaded. But on a full count pitch, James Dobbs flied out.
