Dacanay, Hawks Too Much for Chukars
Laredo and Idaho Falls got after it at Idaho Falls Park.

Good production from center fielder Ronald Dacanay helped the Laredo Hawks topple the Idaho Falls Chukars, 8-4. Dacanay was 4-5 with 2 home runs and 2 singles, while adding 5 RBI and scoring twice for the Hawks. Laredo is in second place in the Premier A with a record of 24-17.

Dacanay came through with some timely hitting for Laredo. With Idaho Falls trailing 4-3 in the top of the seventh, Dacanay hit a 2-2 fastball for a grand slam home run. His 15th home run of the season made it 7-4, Laredo.

"We'll enjoy this win," said Dacanay. "But there's more we hope to accomplish."
