The South Beach Blaze picked up a win at The Cave at Levittown, knocking off the Levittown Blue Dragons, 6-3. Starting pitcher Floyd Niebla played a key role in the triumph. The win elevated the Blaze to 24-17.
South Beach used the clutch hitting of Salvador Ortega to capture the win. The catcher drilled a 2-run double in the top of the eighth inning to give the Blaze the lead, 6-3. For the game, Ortega had 1 single and 1 double in 4 at-bats.
