Clutch Hitting Delivers Win for Gallos
The Walla Walla Walleye got a sterling performance from pitcher Ernie Jones, but the Delmarva Gallos still prevailed, 4-2. Jones threw 6.0 innings of shutout ball. At 32-43, the Gallos find themselves in 9th place in the Silver A.

Delmarva used a timely hit from Gang Yip to get the win. The pinch hitter stroked a bases-clearing double in the top of the eighth inning to put the Gallos ahead, 4-2. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it made an impact.

"At the end of the day, it's always about your starting pitcher," said Delmarva skipper Phil Baker.
