Myrtle Beach Gets 2-1 Win
The Myrtle Beach Seahawks had to overcome a fine performance from Levittown pitcher Carlos Morales to grab a 2-1 win at The Cave at Levittown. Morales allowed 2 runs over 6 innings. Todd Gould notched the win in relief. The left-hander allowed no runs on 2 hits in 3 innings. His record now sits at 2-0. Bob Archer collected his 2nd save.

Héctor García put Myrtle Beach in front, 2-0, when he hit a solo home run off Carlos Morales in the top of the third. It was his 2nd home run of the season.

"We take it day by day here," said García, "and today was a good one for us."

The loss drops the Blue Dragons to 5-4.
