Reapers Sink Generals, 6-3
|
The Grim Reapers beat the Washington Generals, 6-3, at The Coffin. Gene Haber, in particular, was impressive. He went 2 for 3 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 and driving in 2. Chase Davis picked up the win, improving his season record to 4-5. He struck out 4 in 5.2 innings. Álex Alagna was credited with the save for Grim, his 2nd of the season.
Danny Fox made an early impact for Grim when he stroked his 1st triple of the season. The 2-run triple, which came with two out in the bottom of the second, put the Reapers on top, 2-0.
"We took advantage of our opportunities," Haber told the Grim News. "It's as simple as that."
With the win, Grim pushed its record to 29-25.
