Hermit Crabs Deal Godfathers 4-2 Loss
|
The Huntington Hermit Crabs got a stellar performance from pitcher Michael Galloway, who handcuffed the Pontiac offense en route to a win, 4-2, at Pontiac Copperdome. Juan González collected his 7th save. Huntington has an impressive 35-17 record.
Huntington relied on the hitting of Jay Harris to pick up the win. The left fielder clubbed a 2-run home run in the top of the fifth inning to put the Hermit Crabs on top, 2-1. For the game, Harris had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.
"We made a couple of mistakes," said Pontiac skipper Júlio Villegas, "and it cost us."
