Walleye Tank hosted a real pitchers' duel.

The Walla Walla Walleye got a magnificent performance from pitcher Reynaldo Vázquez, who muffled the Huntington offense en route to a tight 2-1 Walleye win at Walleye Tank. Vázquez, now 4-2, was the winner. In 6.1 innings, he gave up 2 hits, while striking out 7, walking 2, and allowing no runs.

The Walleye got a big at-bat from first baseman Juan Guzmán. For the game, Guzmán went 1-3 with a home run. In the bottom of the sixth, with the bases empty, he stroked a solo home run. His 3rd home run of the season gave Walla Walla a 1-0 lead.

"It feels good to get this one," Vázquez told the Walla Walla Bulletin.
