Delmarva starter Burian Polyn pitched well against the Washington Generals at The Cage. The right-hander led his team to a win, 3-1. The winning pitcher was Polyn, now 3-1. He tossed 5.2 innings of 4-hit ball, while walking 1 and fanning 6. Ken Sullivan recorded the save for Delmarva, his 1st of the season.

The Gallos got a big hit from shortstop Todd Gallagher. In the bottom of the fifth, Gallagher pounded a 3-run home run to left. His 4th home run of the season put the Gallos ahead, 3-1.

"Winning never gets dull," said Polyn.

The Gallos go to 14-27 with the win.
