Godfathers Suffer 7-5 Setback
Getting offensive support from Jorge Villarreal, the Eugene Vandals topped the Pontiac Godfathers, 7-5. Villarreal went 4-4 with a triple, 2 doubles, and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once for the Vandals. Eugene reliever Jorge Vázquez was the winner. His record is now 1-1. The losing pitcher was Tom Farrell.
