Eugene pitcher Shane Hudson did his part in helping his team beat the Huntington Hermit Crabs, 5-0. The left-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. The Vandals now have a record of 9-12.
Hudson scattered 4 hits over 7.2 innings for the Vandals. With the win, Hudson goes to 1-0 on the year with 8 strikeouts.
