Godfathers Get One-Run Win at Walla Walla
The Pontiac Godfathers did just enough to sneak past the Walla Walla Walleye, 3-2, at Walleye Tank. Pontiac pitcher Chris Bailey, in particular, had a standout performance. The Godfathers, now 12-6, have been red hot.

Pontiac used a clutch hit from Tony Silva to get the win. The shortstop drilled a 2-run home run in the top of the seventh inning to put the Godfathers ahead, 3-1. It was his only hit in 2 at-bats, but it was a doozy.

"We were in it," said Walla Walla manager Eddie O'Bryan. "We just didn't score enough runs."
