Chin-yau Tu pitched well, but his team, the Syracuse Storm, still dropped a 3-1 decision to the Yucca Valley Yellows at Storm Park. Carlos Gómez was the winning pitcher. Over 6 innings, he allowed 1 run on 6 hits, with 3 walks and 2 strikeouts. Eric Ramírez picked up the save, his 21st.
