The Columbia River Rats topped the Niagara Falls Expos, 4-0, in M3L Single A action at Waterfall Park. The game was highlighted by the performance of Columbia pitcher Anthony Carney. The 10th-place River Rats improved to 19-25.
Carney scattered 5 hits over 8.1 innings for the River Rats. With the win, Carney moves to 3-0 on the year with 44 strikeouts.
"Winning the game is always the first objective," Carney said.
