The Mercer Island Screaming Eagles walked off with a big win.

The Mercer Island Screaming Eagles got a stellar effort from pitcher Mike Vanderbilt, helping Mercer Island score a win over the visiting Richland Rails, 3-2. Mercer Island reliever Ed Cameron picked up the win, raising his record to 2-0. Eduardo Pérez was tagged with the loss.

Roldão Cintra was the walk-off hero for Mercer Island. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Screaming Eagles pinch hitter hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"I'm glad I could get it done when the game was in the balance," Cintra said in his postgame press conference.

Richland has now lost 4 straight.
