The Niagara Falls Expos topped the Grand Forks Caterpillars, 5-3, in M3L Single A action at The Cocoon. The game was highlighted by the performance of Niagara Falls pitcher Wulf Hinkamp. The win belongs to Satya Soedjatmoko in relief. His record improves to 2-0. Nicky Martínez took the loss for Grand Forks. Wu-shun Feng earned the save for Niagara Falls, his 2nd.
Chad Ellis made it 5-3 in favor of Niagara Falls when he delivered a 2-run single. It came with one out in the top of the 15th. The Expos went on to win.
"Tough ballgame, tough loss," said Grand Forks manager Craig Stewart.
The win puts Niagara Falls at 21-11 this season.
