The Ft. Polk South Thunder Hawks defeated the Richland Rails, 4-3, in USPL Double A action at Thunder Hawks Ballpark. Ft. Polk South pitcher Mark Brunswick had a standout performance. Joe Gregg converted his 2nd save in 3 tries. The loss makes Richland 26-37.

Ft. Polk South right fielder Anton Zdravomyslov produced at a critical juncture. It happened in the bottom of the eighth with Manny Negrete on the mound and Ft. Polk South leading 3-1. Zdravomyslov hit into a double play.

Zdravomyslov said his team "executed a good game plan."
