The Richland Rails bested the Northville Eclipse, 5-3, at Rails Ballpark. Matt Fuller was one of the standouts. He was 3-3 with a double, 2 singles, and a walk. He scored 3 times. Jason Walker was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 4 of 4 save opportunities. The Rails raised their record to 24-36.

Richland took a 5-3 lead on Tony Moore's 8th double of the season. The run-scoring double, which Moore hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Northville pitcher John Jennings visibly frustrated.
