The Ft. Polk South Thunder Hawks overcame a good performance by Squirrel Hill right fielder William Murphy to knock off Squirrel Hill, 7-4, at Field of the Rawhides. Murphy went 3-4 with a home run, a double, and 2 walks. José Franco picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 4-1. Kirby Perkins was tagged with the loss. Ft. Polk South has run its win streak to 4 in a row.

Ft. Polk South took a 7-4 lead on António Taváres's 8th double of the season. The bases-clearing double, which Taváres hit in the top of the 13th, left Squirrel Hill pitcher Kirby Perkins shaking his head.
