Pritchard goes 3-for-3 in Comets Win
The Kent Comets beat the Yucca Valley Yellows, 8-1, at Fuller Park. Kent left fielder Walt Pritchard had an outstanding performance. He went 3-3 with 2 doubles and a walk. He scored 3 runs and drove in 2. John Palmer nailed down his 1st save. Kent raised its record to 11-9 with the win.

With no one out in the top of the eighth, Esteban Hernández had a chance to do some damage. Yucca Valley was trailing 7-0, but had the bases loaded. Hernández came to the plate against John Palmer, and hit into a double play. But it was not enough to complete a Yucca Valley comeback.
