Benefiting from Alex Williamson's productive game, the Mercer Island Screaming Eagles downed the Ft. Polk South Thunder Hawks, 7-4. Williamson was 2-4 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once for the Screaming Eagles. Ralph Winters, the winner, goes to 1-2. He allowed 4 runs on 7 hits, with 3 walks and 3 strikeouts over 6.2 innings. Mark Finley was credited with the save for Mercer Island, his 1st of the season.

Williamson had a consequential at-bat in the bottom of the third for the Screaming Eagles. Coming up with runners on 2nd and 3rd and Mercer Island trailing 4-3, he hit a 2-run single.
