Martín Galindo was superb against Richland. The right-hander had a fastball that was virtually unhittable at times. The result was a Eclipse victory. The score was 9-4. The save was credited to Jiao-long Yuen, his 1st. The victory makes Northville 8-12.

The Eclipse got an important contribution from designated hitter Melvin Todd, who in the bottom of the fourth knocked a first pitch sinker into right-center for a 2-run double. It was his 1st double of the season and put the Eclipse ahead, 4-1.

"We can always improve and get better, but we're feeling confident after that win," said Todd.
