Loss to Torch Extends Grand Forks Losing Streak
Mancelona and Grand Forks duked it out and the Torch came out victorious.

Good production from first baseman Ieremia Mohala helped the Mancelona Torch topple the Grand Forks Caterpillars, 8-5. Mohala was 1-1 with 2 walks. He drove in 3 runs and scored once for the Torch. The win belongs to Ed Hammons in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Steve Donaldson took the loss for Grand Forks. Jorge Cestero closed the door for Mancelona, picking up his 3rd save of the year.

Mohala contributed in the bottom of the third. With runners on 1st and 3rd, he hit a sacrifice fly. It was one at-bat among others that helped Mancelona get the win.

"Getting a lot of baserunners and getting some timely hits, it's a good combination," said Mohala.

The loss makes Grand Forks 2-7.
