Voisin, Atoms Get 5-2 Win
|
The Bethesda Atoms picked up a win at Atoms Field, taking down the Mercer Island Screaming Eagles, 5-2. Starting pitcher Jean Voisin was a big reason why. The save went to Kimmo-Mikka Jokinen, number 1 for him. The win has Bethesda at 4-3.
In his 83-pitch effort, Voisin allowed no runs on 1 hit over 6.2 innings. He walked 1 and struck out 5.
Voisin called the triumph "a good team win."
