Mariachis Snag 3-1 Win
|
The Nuevo Mexico Mariachis got a magnificent performance from pitcher Jason O'Rorke, who muffled the Richland offense en route to a tight 3-1 Mariachis win at Mariachi Band Shell. Richland falls to 2-1.
In the bottom of the eighth, Nuevo Mexico shortstop George O'Rorke gave his team the lead. With two out and runners on 1st and 2nd, Tigger hit his 1st home run of the year. Richland pitcher Joshua Dobson surrendered it. With that, the Mariachis jumped in front, 3-1.
"We'll relax tonight and enjoy this win," said O'Rorke.
