Tacoma Fur Traders starter Alfonso Medina was in a rhythm all game. He led his team to a win over the Minnesota Loons, 4-2. At 59-41, the Fur Traders are currently third in the Silver AA.

A defensive lapse proved costly in the contest. In the bottom of the sixth, with the game tied, Joe Gilmore was at the plate when Tacoma scored 1 on an error. The miscue enabled the Fur Traders to go in front, 3-2.

Gilmore told a Tacoma Daily News reporter that he was "more than satisfied" with the win.
