Anderson Excels, But Loons Win
Gwinnett got a terrific game from center fielder Markus Anderson. It wasn't enough, though, to prevent the team from falling to Minnesota, 8-5. Anderson hit 2 home runs. He drove in 5 runs and scored twice. With the win, Minnesota upped its record to 61-31.

Rodrigo Sánchez, who is tied for 4th in the SAA in doubles with 22, helped out the Minnesota cause in the bottom of the fifth inning with a run-scoring double. For the game, the left fielder went 1-3 with a double.

"Enjoyed this one," Sánchez told the Minnesota News. "But it's back to work tomorrow."
