Loons Win Streak Reaches 7

The St. Petersburg Thunder got a superb performance from second baseman Soshal Distan Singh. Still, it wasn't enough to beat Minnesota. The Loons won the game, 10-7. Singh was 3-5 with a triple and 2 singles, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. Micheal Bly, the winner, goes to 2-1. He allowed 4 runs on 4 hits, with 6 walks and 2 strikeouts over 5 innings. The second-place Loons have won 7 consecutive games.
Minnesota relied on the hitting of Van Curtis to pick up the win. The designated hitter clubbed a grand slam home run in the top of the second inning to put the Loons on top, 5-0. For the game, Curtis had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.
