Getting a good performance from designated hitter Tom Gray, the Toledo Saboteurs defeated the Olympia Ogres, 5-4. Gray was 3-5 with a home run and a triple, while scoring 2 times for the Saboteurs. Toledo pitcher Tony Wilson got the win. He's now 1-2. Juan Barrón was tagged with the loss. The Saboteurs raised their record to 33-49.

Gray had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the seventh. On a full count fastball from Juan Barrón, he banged a solo home run to left-center, giving the Saboteurs a 5-4 lead. It was the 4th home run of the year for Gray.

"Winning is hard sometimes," said Saboteurs manager Will Thomas. "This one was nice to get."
