The Olympia Ogres beat the Chesapeake Cangrejos Fantasmas, 8-6, at Ghost Crab Park. Sang-chul Kwon, in particular, was impressive. He went 2-4 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3. Dan Taylor closed the door for Olympia, picking up his 2nd save of the year. The Ogres are now 39-38, while the Cangrejos Fantasmas fall to 41-36.

Olympia used the timely hitting of José Morales to seize the win. The second baseman stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the eighth inning to put the Ogres on top, 7-6. It was his only hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"If we play like this, we can win a lot of games," Kwon told the Olympia Observer.
