The St. Petersburg Thunder got a superb performance from pitcher Nicolas Cernin. Still, it wasn't enough to beat Toledo. The Saboteurs won the game, 4-3. Cernin threw 6.1 innings allowing 2 runs. Les Wright snagged the win in relief. In 2.1 innings, the left-hander allowed 1 run on 3 hits. He's now 1-4 on the season. The Saboteurs sit in 8th place in the Silver AA with a record of 31-44.

The game came to a dramatic end. In the bottom of the ninth, with Toledo trailing 3-2, Manuel Ortíz hit a fastball from Shusui Suzuki for a 2-run home run, giving the Saboteurs the walk-off win.

Ortíz said his team "played with focus."
