Ogres Need Extra Innings to Top Saboteurs, 2-1

The Ogre Den was host to some intense drama.
The Toledo Saboteurs got a superb performance from pitcher Yuan Thian. Still, it wasn't enough to beat Olympia. The Ogres won the game, 2-1. Thian threw 7.1 innings of shutout ball. The Ogres, at 29-23, have now won 4 straight.
The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the 12th inning, when Olympia third baseman Jon Himes, facing Les Wright, had a run-scoring walk. It gave the Ogres the 2-1 win.
"It was a good effort all around," said Himes.
