Big Day for Le as Ogres Down Thunder, 11-4
Ogres second baseman Shi-ping Le put his stamp on his team's 11-4 win over the St. Petersburg Thunder. Le went 3-5 with 2 home runs. He drove in 5 runs and scored twice for Olympia in the contest. John Tripcony was the winning pitcher. Over 5 innings, he allowed 4 runs on 9 hits, with 1 walk and 3 strikeouts. Juan Barrón earned the save for Olympia, his 1st of the year.

Le came through for Olympia with a run-scoring single in the bottom of the first. He hit a 2-1 fastball to left field, staking his team to a 1-0 lead.

"It feels good to get this one," Le told the Olympia Observer.

With the win, the Ogres improved to 19-18.
