Paul Green helped his team muscle past the Gwinnett Guinea Pigs, 6-2. In the game, the Chesapeake first baseman went 1-3 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 and driving in 2. Chesapeake reliever Anil Seshu picked up the win, upping his record to 1-1. Jorge Cambeiro absorbed the loss. At 19-16, the Cangrejos Fantasmas find themselves in 4th place in the Silver AA.

The Guinea Pigs had been locked in a 2-2 tie with the Cangrejos Fantasmas going into the top of the sixth inning. That changed quickly when the 24-year old center fielder Norm Williams came to the plate. Williams hit a solo home run on a 0-2 circle change from Gwinnett hurler Jorge Cambeiro. It was Williams's 4th home run of the year.

Green told a Chesapeake News reporter that he was "gratified" with the win.
