Fur Traders Knock Off Thunder at Ballpark of Tacoma
The 7-5 Tacoma win over St. Petersburg was due largely to Dennis Moore. The Fur Traders first baseman went 2-2 with 2 singles and 2 walks. He scored 2 runs. Alfonso Medina picked up the win, improving his season record to 2-1. He struck out 5 in 7.1 innings. Pedro Garza finished the game for Tacoma and earned his 8th save.

Tacoma took control in the bottom of the sixth. With no one out and runners on 1st and 2nd, Chris Duncan hit a 2-run double to make it 6-4, Fur Traders.

"Glad to get this win," said Duncan. "But we need to keep playing at a high level."

Tacoma now sits in 4th place in the Silver AA at 13-11.
