The Olympia Ogres bested the Gulf Coast Turbeaus by a score of 5-3, with first baseman Forrest Reed getting the main credit. On the day, Reed hit 2 home runs. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice for the Ogres. Luis Boll, 2-1, earned the win in relief. He allowed no runs on no hits in 2 innings. Olympia goes to 9-11.

Reed had a game-changing home run in the top of the tenth. On a 1-2 fastball from Byron Vyse, he banged a 2-run home run to right, giving the Ogres a 5-3 lead. It was the 4th home run of the year for Reed.
