Chesapeake second baseman Paul Kelly made his presence felt in the 14-3 Cangrejos Fantasmas triumph over the Toledo Saboteurs. Kelly was 2-2 with 2 doubles and 4 walks, while scoring 2 times. Ray Armstrong recorded his 1st save for Chesapeake. The Saboteurs fall to 7-10 and continue their lackluster start to the 2046 season.

It could have been a different outcome for Chesapeake, had it not been for Eduardo Fernández, the 22-year old center fielder . Fernández contributed a run-scoring walk in the top of the seventh inning to put Chesapeake up, 5-3.
