Castro Delivers Walk-Off Win for Highlanders
The Asheville Highlanders took Barton Springs pitcher Felipe López's best shot and still were able to claim a win at Asheville Park. The final score had Asheville getting past the Blues, 2-1. López went 7.1 innings and allowed 1 run, striking out 3. Asheville reliever Micheal Smith was the winner. His record is now 7-2. Danny Kas took the loss. The Highlanders improved to 54-45.

Fernando Castro delivered a run-scoring walk in the bottom of the 12th to win it for the Highlanders. For the game, Castro went 1 for 5 with a walk.

"We found a way to get it done," Castro said.
