Farmers Earn 8-7 Win Versus Fighting Imps
The Lancaster Farmers beat the Ithaca Fighting Imps by a score of 8-7. Lancaster third baseman Danny Adams deserved the lion's share of the credit. Adams was 2 for 4 with 2 home runs. He drove in 6 runs and scored twice for the Farmers. Dan Kent came out of the bullpen to earn the win. The left-hander allowed 1 run on 3 hits in 3.1 innings. His record now stands at 4-6. With the win, Lancaster raised its record to 54-44.

The game came to a dramatic end. In the bottom of the ninth, with Lancaster trailing 7-5, Adams hit a fastball from Xin-fang Zha for a 3-run home run, giving the Farmers the walk-off win.

Adams told the Lancaster Herald: "Win or lose, I don't want to see our team outhustled."
