Sturge Powers Blues Offense
The Barton Springs Blues trumped the Ottawa Nationals, 6-2, at Blues Field. Barton Springs first baseman Keaton Sturge was terrific. He went 3-4 with a home run and a double. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. Robinson Martínez notched his 2nd save in 4 chances. At 40-51, the Blues claim 10th place in the Menard's AA.

With Barton Springs leading 3-2 in the bottom of the fifth, Sturge hit a fastball from Steve MacDougal for a bases-clearing double. It was his 4th double of the season and put the Blues ahead, 6-2.

"We put a lot of pressure on ourselves," Sturge told a Barton Springs Gazette reporter. "Sometimes we just need to relax."
