Ghosts Lose Again, 4-2, to Farmers
|
Lancaster right-hander Jerry Sargent pitched his team to victory over the Casper Ghosts at Farmers Field. The final score was 4-2. Sargent, the winner, moves to 7-3. He threw 5.1 innings of 3-hit ball, while fanning 1 and giving up 2 walks. With the victory, the Farmers upped their record to 48-41.
George Holmes had a critical at-bat with one out in the bottom of the sixth for Lancaster. He came through with a run-scoring double to put Lancaster in front, 4-2.
"We'll relax tonight and enjoy this win," said Sargent.
