Tight Tilt Goes to Love Boats, 3-2

The Igloo was the site of a competitive game between the Billings Polar Bears and Lake Minnetonka Love Boats.
Lake Minnetonka picked up a win at The Igloo, bumping off the Billings Polar Bears, 3-2. Pitcher Manuel Martínez was a major reason the Love Boats emerged victorious. Hugh Mann was called on to finish, recording his 9th save.
It could have been a different outcome for Lake Minnetonka, had it not been for Tony Floyd, the 24-year old right fielder . Floyd contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the fourth inning to put Lake Minnetonka up, 3-0.
"I'm proud of the way our guys played today to come out with this win," Floyd told the Lake Minnetonka Gazette.
The Polar Bears, now 36-52, have lost 4 in a row.
