Love Boats Get Dramatic 8-7 Win
|
Joy-shan Tung was a vital contributor to the 8-7 Lake Minnetonka victory over Yakima. The Love Boats catcher was 3-4 with 3 singles and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 2. The winner was Lake Minnetonka reliever Hugh Mann, now 3-5. The loser was Yoshifumi Oshima. The losses continue to mount for Yakima, which has now dropped 7 in a row.
A crucial at-bat came with the bases loaded and no one out in the bottom of the eighth inning. That's when right fielder Tony Floyd hit a sacrifice fly. The Love Boats went on to win.
