Farmers Earn 7-6 Win Versus Love Boats
|
The Lancaster Farmers had to overcome a big game from Lake Minnetonka left fielder Santiago Harmon to leave Heron Field with a victory. And they did, winning 7-6. Harmon was 3-3 with 3 doubles and a walk, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 2. Reliever Yaw Selemani picked up the win. His record improves to 4-2. Hugh Mann took the loss. The wins continue to add up for Lancaster, with the latest making it 8 in a row.
It could have been a different outcome for Lancaster, had it not been for Sonny Greenwood, the 23-year old catcher . Greenwood contributed a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the ninth inning to put Lancaster up, 7-6.
"We'll take this win and move on," said Greenwood.
