Ithaca Fighting Imps starter Hank Garrett kept the Casper Ghosts hitters in check, leading his team to a comfortable 8-2 win. The winning pitcher was Garrett, now 4-6. He tossed 7 innings of 4-hit ball, while walking 4 and fanning 8.

Boboy Enabore, the 26-year old shortstop , had a direct impact on the outcome. Enabore contributed a run-scoring walk in the top of the sixth inning to put Ithaca up, 3-2.

"If we play like this, we can win a lot of games," Enabore told the Ithaca Times.
