Lancaster picked up a win at Goodyear Hanger Dome, toppling the Akron Blimps, 6-4. Pitcher John Deemer was one of the reasons the Farmers triumphed. Lancaster is now 38-38, Akron 41-35.

It could have been a different outcome for Lancaster, had it not been for William Kirkland, the 24-year old center fielder . Kirkland contributed a run-scoring walk in the top of the 12th inning to put Lancaster up, 5-4.

"John is tough when he's hitting his spots," said Lancaster manager Dylan Smith.
