Blues Come Back Late to Top Farmers, 7-3
The Blues grabbed a win, 7-3, at Farmers Field, overcoming a fine effort from Lancaster pitcher Jerry Sargent. Sargent went 7 innings and allowed 1 run. Charlie Lyon notched the win in relief. The right-hander allowed 2 runs on 4 hits in 3.1 innings. His record now sits at 1-4. Barton Springs now owns a record of 32-42.

Barton Springs used the timely hitting of Keaton Sturge to capture the win. The pinch hitter socked a grand slam home run in the top of the ninth inning to put the Blues ahead, 7-3. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a big one.

In comments to the Barton Springs Gazette, Sturge insisted that he's not as disinterested as it often appears. "Haters will hate," he added.
