Akron first baseman Walt Pritchard was sensational. He went 3 for 3 with a home run and a double, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once, but it wasn't enough to rally his team to a win. Billings beat the Blimps, 5-4. Billings pitcher Ramelan Mollema got the win. He's now 4-7. Claude Stevens was tagged with the loss. The Polar Bears go to 28-45 with the win.

Making an impact for the home team was Markus Lindsey. In the bottom of the sixth, the 25-year old second baseman had a run-scoring walk. That made the score 5-3, Polar Bears.

"It feels good to get this one," Lindsey told the Billings Herald.
