The Ithaca Fighting Imps picked up a win at Asheville Park, knocking off the Asheville Highlanders, 3-2. On the mound for Ithaca was right-hander Damarco Lyons, who played a pivotal role in the win. With the victory, the Fighting Imps upped their record to 35-33.
Mies Lumme helped out the Ithaca cause in the top of the sixth inning with a 2-run single. For the game, the first baseman was 1-4. He drove in 2 runs.
